Extending Battery Life

Follow these practices to maximize your battery investment:

• Keep batteries fully charged during storage — self-discharge can lead to sulfation
• Check electrolyte levels monthly for accessible batteries and top off with distilled water
• Clean terminals and connections every 3-6 months to prevent corrosion
• Use a temperature-compensating charger for outdoor storage
• Avoid deep discharges when possible — recharge at 50% capacity

Warning Signs of Failing Batteries
